Akankunda Christine
As chairperson at Nyabikuuku Women in Development (NUWID), Christine has been working with community based organizations and women groups since 2010. She is passionate about seeing women and girls’ empowered and taking leadership roles in transforming their households and communities. With more than 13 years of experience in community development work, Christine believes in locally led solutions that enhance women’s empowerment and strongly believes that when you empower women, you develop the nation.
