Kim Izzarelli
Kim joins FCDE directly from Peace Corps Belize where she recently served 27 months as a Youth Development Coordinator. Prior to joining Peace Corps, Kim worked seven years as a marketing manager with a retirement planning services firm focused specifically on building financial literacy and investment planning for union clients.
A self-described marketing maven, Kim brings energy and enthusiasm to her tasks, as well as her fresh digital marketing skills, extensive experience with print, media, websites and production of live video content, interviews, and forums on a variety of financial topics.
Kim holds two master’s degrees: MSOB, Organizational Diagnosis and Development, Barney School of Business, University of Hartford, and MSEd, Educational Leadership, Pace University. She also holds a BBA, Bachelors Business Administration, American International College. Kim has served as both a board member of a women’s reproductive health network and public library trustee for more than a decade.
A mother of two, grown adult children, Kim takes pride in sharing updates from home on their young careers and achievements. When she is not discovering new and interesting places to visit in Uganda, Kim enjoys strength training, hiking, cycling and exercising with friends.
